Error when Verifying: "Cannot load the machine configuration files. Please check the configuration files for ."
Problem/Situation
When attempting to run Verify or simulation the user is presented with an error screen reading "Cannot load the machine configuration files. Please check the configuration files for ." After clicking OK another error screen will appear stating "Errors detected in the input data stream. The simulation process will now stop."
Solution

To change the machine simulation setting to fix this error:
From the ribbon, click the Machine tab, then select the Machine Definition from the Job Setup group. Green check any prompts that appear
Open the General Machine Parameters from the row of buttons.
Select the Simulation tab, then select the top radio button for "Use selected external machine", then select from the dropdown based on the following info:
If you are using a post/simulation bundle, please select the exact matching machine definition here
If you are not using a post/simulation bundle select the machine with the axis combination that most closely resembles your machine
Green check and ok all prompts, including the prompt in Mastercam asking if you would like to replace your machine definition.
